Personally I couldn't go back to an 8p I had a stage 2 S3 8p and now have a stage 2 S3 8v. I tried for ages to justify moving from my s3 8p to the rs3 8p and couldn't do it. The RS engine is great but for me it was too similar to justify the uplift in costs. Saying that, I ended up in the S3 8v instead. Ultimately, it's up to you.
Hi Guys, I'm planning to run Stage 2 on my S3 8PA sportback. From my local tunner i was told to get around 350-370BHP (depenging on engine performance) but i need following things to do: a) new air system: Cold Air Induction or Audi TTS air induction. b) complete exhaust system. c) CPU remap. as my engine is CDLA i dont need autotech fuel
Re: what spark plugs to use with stage 3. bosch (f5dpor) plugs wwork well. 01.5 s4 built bottom with pauter rods , BW rs6 turbos , MTM manifolds , ER intercoolers , 044 fuel pump, EV14 injectors , 90mm maf , vast tune for now , X1 intake , ported intake manifold , ASP 3inch down pipes and true duel cat back . 10-29-2007 06:57 PM #3.
Jan 5, 2015. #2. Front Discs 345mm. Rear Discs 310mm Vented. Standard pads are good enough for most of us I'd have thought without upgrading the brakes completely. Depends on how you thrash it. Track days etc. I put Ferrodo pads in the front, work well.
