The most I have done was 97 charges on an inspire battery and it was still in good health. (91%) To figure the current health level of a battery, charge it to it's capacity and see what the mAh figure is.
the capacity will also be reduced with age, high temperature events, etc. not only cycles. I have 98% after approx 50 cycles in half a year. my son has owned the baseline version for 4 months, has tortured his battery by discharging completely, probably several times per week, 99.4% health and more than 100 cycles

To deep cycle, fully charge the drone and then fly it to critically low battery. When it gets to you, resist the landing procedure until the battery gets to 5%.
I am not a battery expert but I do know heat kills battery life over the long term and discharging from 100% down to 20% on a hot day causes the batteries to get pretty hot so I would assume that the more often the batteries get that hot the shorter their life will be. 808 State lives in Hawaii where it gets very hot practically year around so @Steve.M regularly taking the battery to very low levels could shorten the life of the cells ,but what you have to remember is as the cells deplete below 40% their ability to provide enough voltage is diminished as the resistance increases in the cells, i prefer to be coming home and landing around 40% ,if you get home and there is something preventing you from landing straight away ,then

So assuming you land with ~20% battery left like most people, that is about 25 minutes per standard battery or about 9.5 theoretical flights before you have to charge the RC. You don't want to run the RC battery down to zero as that is just as bad for it as it is for Limiting voltage stress during storage as well as flights is the key to make your batteries last many times longer.
