Hello truckers!In this video i will show you how to add mouse steering + keyboard+joystick all together in american truck simulator and eurotruck simulator 2 If you are in "Simple Automatic", then all you have to do is come to a complete stop, then press the brake to reverse. If in "Real Automatic", you need to have a "Shift up" and "Shift down" button mapped, which will allow you to change between Reverse, Neutral, and Drive. The shifting will be automatic though. So i prefer to control my truck wheel with my mouse, but because of that im very limited when looking around, i cant really enjoy the view or even admire my cabin. So im forced to key the keyboard to drive, which sux any ideas on how to kill 2 birds with one stone? (without buying a mechanical wheel) Know somebody how to disable the mouse view rotating? The developers of the Multiplayer version know it. Please help. i dont want to buy a wheel. When i buy a wheell, then one with 16000 dots high resolution, but the game can anyway only using 2000 dots per axis. The mouse is enough and the mouse+keyboard should be btw mouse+keyboard + joystick. Re: Can't put in reverse. That means you are playing on simple automatic transmission. Change it to real automatic or sequential to get a different button for reversing. In other words, change your gear to reverse then accelerate as opposed to brake and reverse being the same key.

Originally on keyboard. Borrowed a friends wheel and couldn't go back to a keyboard. So wheel, pedals, realistic shifting with gear grinding and floating gears, upgraded shifter and head/eye tracking. Its all about immersion. I love to drive, and this is cheaper then spending on fuel and repairs for an actual vehicle.
I am currently using a G27 for ETS2 but I also have a Joystick with a throttle, I would like to use the throttle as a gear stick for when I drive in Automatic mode, I have Xpadder and can make the slider press a button when i goes to the top and bottom of the slider but ETS2 does not allow you to assign the Automatic Gear controll to keyboard inputs, only joystick buttons.
